We size our cuffs and bracelets based on the circumference of the wearer's wrist, not the piece itself. To find your ideal size, we suggest wrapping a soft measuring tape or string comfortably taut around your wrist where you want your cuff to rest and recording the measurement without any slack. If using a string, mark the circumference without any slack or cut the string at that point. Then lay the string against a ruler to get your measurement.

6.5 inches - Medium

7 inches - Large

7.5 inches - XL

If you fall exactly between two sizes, we recommend sizing up or requesting a custom size by emailing us at info@amylynnjewelry.com.  

If you fall outside of our standard sizing range, we can do a custom size at no extra charge. Just be sure to triple check as custom-sized pieces are final sale.

My art starts with a sketch or an idea. Then I take raw metal and cut, shape, solder, and finish the metal. Along the way I may add natural stones or other interesting, even vintage components. My work is often very organic and the finished products can at times look similar or very different, but all pieces have their own uniqueness. Many of my pieces have a rare stone or texture that is considered one-of-a-kind and worthy of collecting as fine art jewelry.

As a rule, I am not currently taking commissions. Having said that, feel free to chat with me about your idea and let's see where that takes us.

Jewelry Care & Info

Amy Lynn Jewelry is constructed with Sterling Silver (925 (92.5%) a standard for the jewelry industry), Brass, Gold-Filled, and Copper components.

Your jewelry should retain its beautiful luster without any special care. If your favorite piece needs a little brush-up, you can regularly wipe your jewelry clean with a soft polishing cloth to restore its shine. Most purchases include a small polishing cloth. I recommend Sunshine Polishing Cloths. Sterling Silver can be prone to darkening if not worn frequently. Many customers like the look of the natural patina that develops on their metal pieces with time. We recommend cleaning your piece after wear with a soft polishing cloth if you prefer a higher shine. 

With any jewelry, care should be taken to avoid lotions or creams, detergent or cleaners, and heavy perfumes. These can alter the finish of jewelry. Some pieces contain vintage items..but with all items, treat these as art and they will last you a very long time.

Take your jewelry off each day before showering, washing dishes, etc. Create a special place or display for it to be stored when not being worn.

I almost always have stretch bracelets at my shows and enjoy wearing them myself. I love the color pop and versatility of them. I love stacking them with other bracelets. They are fun and priced lower than fancier bracelets on traditional wire with a sterling clasp.

Stretch bracelets should always be slowly and carefully rolled over the fingers and hand to your wrist and never stretched wide when putting on. 

Be sure you have the right size and the bracelet is not too tight or too loose.

Buy from an artist that knows how to pre-stretch the cord and secure the knot when crafting your bracelet.

If worn frequently or even with older pieces, all stretch material used in bracelets will wear and eventually stretch beyond repair. It is just the nature of the stretchy bracelet. It will need to be restrung.

I recommend Stretch Magic or Power Cord stretchy bead cord. These are the Cadillacs of stretch cord on the market. Depending on the size of the bead hole, you may also need a beading needle to help thread the cord through the bead. You can find easy tutorials online for this.

If you are in the Fort Worth area and need help restringing beads, The Artful Bead offers this service. I used to offer this service myself, but they do a great job and are very reasonable.

Top Reasons Why Stretchy Bracelets Fail

Yes! Gift Wrapping is listed in our shop as a separate product and can be added to your cart for each item you would like to have gift wrapped. If multiple items are purchased and only one gift wrapping is purchased, we will assume you would like all items wrapped together. Send me a note at checkout if you would like to clarify anything or have me write a special message in an enclosure card for the recipient.

Processing time means that it will normally take 2-4 days before your item ships. On occasion, we are traveling for shows or out looking for beautiful stones (or both) and we will let you know if there will be an unusual delay (more than 4 days before ship out) via email or text.
